SEBI decided to provide dedicated debt segment in stock exchanges. This segment will deal with debt securities, secutized debt instruments and Govt securities, State Govt loans, treasury Bills, SLR and Non-SLR bonds issued by FI s, muncipal bonds, CBLO kind of products, single bond repos, basket repos etc subject to RBI approval wherever necessary. The procedure for setting up such a separate window in Stock exchanges are discussed in detail in the SEBI circular.
